“The pandemic exacerbated existing problems including low wages and precarious work, broken support systems and underfunding of health care and long-term care. This election provides the opportunity for workers to demand better and ensure that no one is left behind. ”

Linda MacNeil, Unifor Atlantic Regional Director

In this election, Nova Scotia workers have an important decision, and we need all parties to reflect our priorities.

Take the pledge today to vote for a party that commits to:

  • Enact paid sick days for all workers
  • Increase healthcare spending, improve wages and invest in programs to recruit healthcare and long-term care workers.
  • Invest in the protection of forestry jobs with stringent conditions that protect jobs and  strong environmental and worker safety regulations and respect First Nations.

Yes! I will vote.
